So you came to 2b1’s morning meeting.
You loved the teaching. You enjoyed the donuts and coffee.
You saw 25 other couples sitting in the room, dealing with the same life struggles as you and your spouse.
Deep inside you were yearning to connect with them, with someone, withy anyone. You stepped out of your shell and spoke to the person next to you at the signup table. You felt that you all were connecting… then the MC rushed you out of the room because the next group of people needed to get in the room to meet…
Well, we have a solution!!!!
Sunday Lunch Bunch (sLb)
Every Sunday someone will be going out for lunch after church, or maybe if its nice grabbing a to go and meeting at a park. Take this chance to just meet up and meet some other couples in the group.

RSVP Form is at the bottom if you did not RSVP on a clipboard on Sunday, you can RSVP here.
The Plan:
- Club house is available for us to use at 6pm.
- PotLuck Dinner at 6:30
- We provide entree, drinks and desserts
- You will bring an appetizer, a side a salad or a bread. If you have a special dessert you really really want to bring, contact Wendy.
- Location is Kendy’s Neighborhood Clubhouse in Fountain City Address
- We will making/signing Christmas Cards to send to FEFC sponsored missionaries.
- If someone brings (and can play) a guitar we can sing christmas carols and stuff…
- We will play “The Game” :alias’s: Dirty Santa, Yankee Exchange, Yankee Swap, The Present Game, The White Elephant Exchange, Stealing Santa, Rob Your Neighbor, Dirty Christmas, Cajun Christmas, Backward Auction, California Swap, Steal-A-Thon, Cut-Throat Christmas, Red-Neck Santa, Rob-a-Santa

- Bring something from the garage to get rid of, or spend LESS THAN $5 @ the store to buy something unique and interesting.
- Each person playing brings 1 gift or it won’t work. (ie: if 30 people are playing, we need 30 presents)
- House rules will be explained before gift exchange starts.
- The pool is closed, but may still be fun to do a polarbear swim if there is interest (bring a towel).

Yep, you heard it here. 2B1 is organizing a Virgina Creeper Bicycle Ride. The difficulty level is LOW and the relaxation enjoyment is off the meter!Here’s a summary, and I will post more details as they are available…
- Date: OCT 20th, 2007
- Time: Most of the Day
- What is it? Virgina Creeper is an old railway bed that has been converted into a scenic, relaxing bicycle riding spot.
- It is mostly downhill.
- You won’t have to pedal.
- You won’t huff and puff.
- You can be non-ahtletic and still participate.
- You can rent a bike there.
- You get to ride a shuttle to the top ( or you you are Lance Armstrong, you can ride up)
- Logistics: Leave the church at 9:30 AM. Drive to Abingdon VA ( carpools are cool!). Shuttle Reservations are at 12:30. Catch a shuttle to the top of the MTN, steer your bicycle down the mtn. Hang out. Eat Dinner. Come home.
- Cost: Variable
- about $10 if you bring your own bike and just need the shuttle up.
- about $20 if you rent a bike (comes w/ helmet AND A BOTTLE OF WATER!!!)
